Welcome
Don't let the name fool you - we enjoy getting out to different parts of the Northwest, not just our little piece of paradise near Spokane. The trails and climbs on the west side of the state are usually pretty busy but not so much so that we'd pass em up when given the opportunity. Teri enjoys biking so we have a few of her biking trips on here. The kids would rather eat a bug than wander down a trail but we're always looking for some of their activities to throw on here as well - video games, crafts and lurking at the mall don't seem to fit the theme though.

Slide Show Yet another trip up to Big Rock - this time with friend and cowrker Phil. The WTA and Dishman Hills Conservation Group has finished this trail! It's a very nice 5 mile loop that takes you up to Big Rock with an excellent view of the Palouse. We took the trail clock-wise but I think counter-clockwise would be nicer because it provides better views for the last half of the hike. From the TH, we went left through open terraine and gained a rid...
